It's been raining ALOT here in Philadelphia. And, I do love it. A rainy day is perfect to look out the window and see the streets filling up. Or dance around to loud music while cleaning the house. Ted and I met up with some friends in New York on Sunday and it was raining all day long. Umbrella's out and water up to our ankles we trekked around sipping coffee and window shopping in Soho and Williamsburg.
What better way to enjoy a rainy day than to paint! I'm no painter but I love to paint anyways. Abstracts are fun to play around with because there are no guidelines. Bleeding colors are beautiful and if you need to drag some cardboard around on excess paint to get a smear of colors then do it. Up above are some pins from my Do It Myself board and Prints and Patterns board. Just some inspiration to a rainy day.
