home tour week 5
Here is a few things in our dining area: our counter high table with chairs to go around and our friends on the wall Kernel Corn in the center. I picked up these screen prints at an Arts Festival when we first moved to Philadelphia. We try and make it a habit to eat dinner at the table. Which usually includes good talks, yummy eats, lots of laughter, and maybe a game of scrabble afterwards.
Upon moving we knew we needed to purchase a new kitchen table. We went back in forth on modern or rustic. We ended up with this gem as we decided when we are ready for a more traditional rustic wood family table we can always slide this into a office for a desk. In the meantime, if we move this will be a no hassle table to pick up and go. I also enjoy sitting around on bar stools.

Your house is so cute! I love the screen prints. I want to find some cute children's book and frame some of the illustrations, but haven't really had the time to go nosing through books though. Perhaps someday :)
