DIY Photo Wall

8.03.2010

HOME TOUR: I love our 24 feet ceilings almost as much as I love books. Here is part of my collection that I've acquired from book stores, book fairs, and my dad's library. I wanted a new way of putting up pictures. We have a frame wall so I wanted something different. I ask Ted to nail three 2 x 4's and he did just that. I really love how it turned out. The love pillow is an etsy find that found its way into our ring barrier's arms at our wedding. I'm dying to do something with that wing chair. Has anyone ever recovered one before? Any ideas? Hints? I would love some color. I've been eyeing different fabrics for a while. The last photo has the very first photo taken of me and Ted at Rue La De Corse in New Orleans. I love the fact that I'm looking at Ted. Next to us is my little brother and his girlfriend.

Today, I'm feeling a little under the weather. I'm taking the day slow and waiting Ted getting off work. What comforts you when you're not feeling well?

very nice set up! I love books too. That bookcase is really unique.
On my bedroom wall, I have tacked up ribbon strips and then used mini clothes pins to hold pictures onto it. It's cute!
