Numbering days

3.04.2013

15 days until we are in New Orleans
15 days until the first day of spring
18 days until my NOLA baby shower
48 days until the Coast Guard ball
75 days until my Philadelphia baby shower
83 days until our friends wedding
90 days until our babymoon to Montreal
129 days until my due date

Every morning lately, I've been waking up and I almost immediately start thinking of my countdowns. Of course my tracker is consumed with my baby boy's arrival. BUT, I am overly excited about our trip home! First of all to see wonderful people. Family & friends. The pregnant lady inside me can not wait to stuff her face with everything in sight. Serious eats for a serious momma. Equally excited about my baby showers because its a chance for me to see so many wonderful faces all at the same time! Hugs all around is what I'm really looking forward to. As well as spending some much needed and much appreciated time with my grandparents and nephews. It also seems like Ted and I haven't been to New Orleans together in f o r e v e r. I took a trip last fall and Ted couldn't make it. Before that we had friends come with us...which is a different experience as we were tour guides. Our trip home is much needed.

I left the CG ball on the list because it's something that I've been playing... what the heck am I going to wear? in my head lately. Also in April, I'm looking forward to seeing Over the Rhine play nearby. May brings great things too. Probably will take my maternity photos as well as try to fit into something wedding appropriate. We have set the date of our 'babymoon' just yet but late may-june... we are heading to Montreal. We've been dying to go for awhile now. It seems to be a perfect time of the year for my liking (not too cold).

And rounding out to July when I'll be able to hold my baby in my arms. Ultimate bliss.

Other things that didn't make it on the list but I'm excited for... completing the nursery, family and friends visiting, warm days, wearing sandals (i'm so over the cold this year!), laying in the sun, planting our backyard garden and mostly anything that has to do with warmer weather.
