Over the weekend, I went to for a walk to local market to pick up some fresh fish. On my way home, I dodged death staring me in the face. Yes, I'm serious. It just so happens that a utility van turned right on red, a big no-no for Philadelphians, without stopping. Even if he did try to stop (which he didn't) he wouldn't have been able to. Scared as all get out, I screamed a four letter word, dropped the fish, ran to the sidewalk, heart racing frantically, and then noticing my audience of amused observers felt real silly. Way too many emotions for 30 seconds. A nice elderly man made sure I was ok, before I continued home without my fish. Needless to say, we went out for dinner and had yummy Italian food at a restaurant we have been eyeing since we moved here.
The rest of our weekend was less eventful. We walked around a lot. Happen to find the fabric section of town. It's a block full of fabric stores, lots of clearances and pretty fabrics. I hope to recover my wing back chairs soon. A project that I just haven't had the gusto to tackle yet.

No right on red!! My Texas mind is trying to wrap it's brain around that one. But wow, good job dodging death, it can be tricky, but I'm glad your right back here writing about your adventure!
