Week 2 of the home tour.
Here is our front door. More importantly what hangs right next to the front door. I inherited the framed soldier from my Granny Ruby (my great grandma). My Granny and Papa Jack are from England. While they lived there she was able to go to Holy Trinity Church in Tattershall. I don't know what the technique is exactly called but basically she would lay paper over tombs and rubbed some type of back ink on the paper. Here is the result. Sadly you are not aloud to do this anymore. The tombs are from the 15th century. I always loved the three soldiers that are about 4 feet tall framed in my grandma's dinning area. My granny was very special. She had the perfect figure and perfect hair all the way up to 99 years old when she passed 7 years ago. She loved sweets and cokes. Go figure.
The painting of the girl is an old painting that I did several years ago. Our steel door collects a zillion finger prints.
