it's february 1st, y'all. i can't believe it. i *love* february for several reasons:

1. ted & i met in february. february 17, 2008 to be exact
2. it's a short month
3. valentine's day & the red lipstick. whether married or single i've always had a soft spot for this day.
4. roasted beets, rutabaga, duck, and comfort food
5. february is my last full month of college. get me out of there!
6. flowers galore
7. shopping for a valentine's day outfit, of course
8. possible snow days or possible spring-like days
9. ted & i are doing something special everyday of this month and calling it 29 nights of dates. but really we are fitting in something extra special each day. we even started a day early.
10. lastly... fancy dinner & chocolate!
