Amish & Treasures

We have hosted many guests lately.
One of which was my mother-n-love. Last week we took her to Lancaster, Pa.

She's a little -obessed- with Amish culture. We ended up wandering around going into little local amish owned shops with high prices quilts, pretty-freakin' cool furniture (where we scored an old trunk), and the best shoe fly pie ever. I snapped some shots with my phone and above is one of them.

Since we won't be spending our holidays with family this time I'm soaking up all the family time now. My parents return home this week and then we are shifting gears for birthday festivities.
