We threw on clothes to make it for a few floats at the parade.
We saw Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
Showered and dressed up we headed to a fancy schmancy restaurant. It wasn't a homemade Thanksgiving meal. But, it was probably the best we've ever had. Ted order the traditional Turkey dinner and I had the burgandy braised short ribs. Started with a fennel salad and the best turkey stock soup with little yummy meatballs and tortellini. Finished with a classic yummy pumpkin pie.
The rest of the day was relaxing and then ended up watching a bit of the Saints vs. Cowboys game. Ted is from Dallas and so naturally he's a pretty huge Cowboys fan. Me, I'm a Saints fan.
The house couldn't have been more divided.
At the end of the day, I was extremely happy. Ted was happy that the Cowboys ended up putting some points on the bored.
Now, on to Christmas decorations and some homemade hot cocoa.
