R U N

12.23.2011
All week I've been thinking up 2012. Mentally, I believe I'm skipping right over Christmas so I won't have to force myself to pack. (well sooner or later I'm going to have to pack or else I'm leaving with no clothes.) BUT, I'm happy about 2012. Lots of great things to look forward to and goals to be achived. Graduating sounds heavenly. And our friends Jared & Ellen are flying to meet us in New Orleans to celebrate NYE '12 with us. We can not wait to show them a cajun good ole time and eat lots of yummies.

One of my goals for 2012 is to R U N. This past year I completely roughly about 247 miles. Which was a start. But, something that I want to put to shame in 2012. Two miles a day is what I'm setting myself up for. Thing is, I'm not a natural born runner. I have always hated it. BUT, it's something that I have discovered to be peaceful and comforting. When I run, I think. I clear my head of all that the week is weighing on me. I listen to music. Which I hardly have time for otherwise. And I feel like a champion. Looking forward to running a 5k in February and hopefully a 10k sometime as well.

Me and this three letter word are going to be best buds.

What do you listen to while running? I'm always changing it up to what I'm in the mood for. Lately, I tend to listen to Beiber or LFMAO (don't laugh). But, I love good worship music and sometimes I listen to whole sermons. Any tips on running?
